About

As a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) who’s been working with kids and adolescents for more than 10 years in various settings (homes, schools, hospitals), I’ve witnessed their resilience and natural intuition for knowing what they need to heal. They have a fun energy, an exuberance, about them, and they’re so motivated and open to changing for the better.

My goals for my young clients are that, through their work with me, they will build confidence, enhance their problem-solving skills, improve their behavior, and be better able to identify, understand, and verbalize their feelings. My hope for parents is that they’ll develop a stronger emotional connection with their children and see improvements in their child's behaviors at home and at school, so that you can spend less time disciplining and more time enjoying your child's company.

I received a B.A. in both psychology and studio art from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and completed my master’s degree in social work at Catholic University right here in the District, and I am a registered play therapist.

Besides my love for helping children and their families, I’m also a huge fan of Nationals baseball and am a dog mom with a penchant for photography.

I look forward to hearing from you and becoming your partner on your child’s journey.
